"GOOD FEELING"

The song Long way to happy by Pink has the theme of bitterness and sadness. Pink usually sings really happily and energetic but in this song, her voice was low and sounded sad. This song is about her experiencing a long term sadness from a heartbreaking moment. The tone of the lyric shows that Pink was hurt and the pain lasted a long time for her. "One night to you lasted six weeks for me. " She was so sad and gloomy that she says "I've got a bad, bad feeling." Pink says that " It is gonna take a long time to love" showing that she felt deceived by this relationship and that it is going to take lots of time before she over comes the " bad, bad feeling." This is a song that shows a bitter, sad end of a relationship.
Contrary to Pink's breakup song, "Good Feeling" by Flo Rida is all about him having a good feeling. This song is a binary opposite to Pink's song because "Good feeling" suggests a wonderful time but "Long way to happy" is about a breakup that made Pink have a bitter and sad time. In the song by Flo Rida, the tone of the song is positive, energetic and fun. The word "Good Feeling" is repeatedly used for more than 30 times to emphasize the importance of it. Flo Rida shows positive attitude and love toward is daily life. "Gotta love the life that we liven." Flo Rida is having such a good time in the song that he felt like he could be anyone he wanted to be. "No trick plays, I'm Bill Gates." This song shows that with a good feeling, anything is possible.
My personal favourite out of those two songs is Good Feeling. I don't like to feel sad and gloomy instead I like very positive and happy songs. Good Feeling suggests to me that it is possible to have a good time anywhere. I like positive songs and thats why I prefer "Good Feeling."
